My Review:
A highly emotional friends to lovers story.
I was hooked on this book from the very start and it only
got better from there. Gabe and Chantel knew
each other in school, but they never dated, even though they were both
attracted to each other. Their
relationships through the years hadn’t been the best and they both suffered
heartbreak, so they planned to be friends only.
But it wasn’t meant for them to be just friends. They ended up falling for each other pretty
quick. When Gabe’s ex shows up in town
and there is another unexpected surprise, Chantel’s insecurities rise again and
she pushes Gabe away. Now, Gabe has to
try and win Chantel back and he will do anything he can to prove how much he
loves her.
I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t wait to see how Chantel and Gabe would work through each obstacle that was put in front of them on their journey to find a happily ever after. This is the first book in a new series and I can’t wait to read the next.
