Review: A Christmas to Remember (Cabins in the Pines Book 3) by Cassidy Carter

A holiday getaway forces them together—but will Christmas magic be enough to keep them from saying goodbye?

Jack Allen, the newest investor in Cabins in the Pines Resort, is ready to celebrate the season. Between the sleigh rides, the Winter Wonderland festival, and a special countdown to a new baby for the resort’s owners, Christmas in Fairwood, Arizona, promises to be unforgettable. But when his best friend’s sister arrives—reluctantly and with zero holiday spirit—Jack’s plans take an unexpected turn.

Dr. Ella Brent-Collingsworth has no interest in festive celebrations. With her demanding career as a physician, she sees her trip to Fairwood as nothing more than a brief family visit before she moves on to the next chapter of her life. But a sudden winter storm derails her plans, leaving her snowed in at the resort with the most infuriatingly charming man she’s ever met.

When an unexpected challenge threatens the resort’s holiday events, Jack and Ella are forced to work together. As the Christmas magic settles in, so do feelings neither of them saw coming. But when Ella’s dream job in California calls, she must decide—return to the future she’s worked for or risk everything for a love that feels like home?

My Review:

The true spirit of Christmas.

This was such a fun book to read.  The story starts with a unique meet-cute and just gets better from there.  Ella and Jack are total opposites in every way possible.  He loves Christmas and Ella hates it.  She’s a workaholic and goal driven and he has been there, done it, and wanted a more relaxed way of life.  As Ella and Jack get to know each other, Ella’s walls start to crumble and she softens.  It just might be enough for her to realize she could use a change in her life.  I also enjoyed catching up with the characters from the previous books in this series.
