The Fairy Tale Bride (Montana Born Bride Book 1) by Scarlet Wilson Review

Synopsis:

Wedding fever has hit the little town of Marietta...

Lisa Renee loves weddings. As owner of Marietta’s bridal salon, Lisa takes charge when a celebrity wedding rolls into town and does what she does best: hosting the fairy tale wedding her clients dream of. But the celebrity’s badly behaving bridesmaids shatter Lisa’s poise, excitement, and hopes of putting Marietta and her boutique on the map. The only place she can find peace is on the pediatric ward of the local hospital where she volunteers, a place that holds more meaning to her than anyone knows. Leave it to the handsome and charming new doctor to change all of that...

Dr. Adam Brady is enjoying his new job and anonymity at Marietta’s hospital, but he hasn’t been able to focus entirely since the gorgeous business owner and hard-working volunteer piqued his interest. As he spends more time with her, sparks fly, and he realizes that he’s not the only one in Marietta
with secrets…

My Review:

Sweet small town romance.

Lisa Renee’s bridal shop just got the customer of a lifetime.  Marietta’s own Nancy Parsons is now a big time Hollywood star.  She has come home for her wedding.  She needs bride’s maid dresses.  The only problem is Lisa has no idea the bride’s maids aren’t very good customers.  They insult every dress in the shop.  They can’t agree on anything.  They can’t even keep their appointments straight.  Lisa is at her wits ends with them.  Good thing she has her volunteer job at Marietta General Hospital.  At least she can escape the chaos for a few hours while making children other patients happy with her visits.

There is a new doctor in town.  Dr. Adam Brady recently moved from Washington DC to this small town in hopes no one would recognize him as the doctor who won the lottery.  Maybe he can have a normal life and live and work without any interruptions.  When he notices Lisa reading to a little girl, he has to know who she is.  He has no idea what he is about to get into.

With celebrities and paparazzi all over the town, Adam fears someone might recognize him as what he was known as before he moved to Marietta, the millionaire doctor.  He wants to keep a low profile but hanging out with Lisa makes it hard to do.  Will he sacrifice his secret to get to know Lisa or should he just move on and stay away from all the hoopla?  Can Lisa forget the heartbreak of her past in order to open up to new love?  Having her fiancé run off with her sister is a tough one to forget.

I enjoyed this story a lot.
