Synopsis:

My Review: 

Flynn Benson had no idea moving to Montana would change his life so much.  All he wanted was a change of scenery and a chance to forget the woman he couldn’t save from a wildfire.  Heading Crawford County Search & Rescue would be the perfect position for him.  He could still be involved with what he loves, but with a change of scenery.

Flynn had given up on women after his last marriage.  He just didn’t trust them anymore.  That was until he met one of his employees, Katherine “Kat” Robinson.  She would be worth taking a chance on.  But he knew not to get involved with an employee.

Kat is a single mother raising her son Brady on her own.  Kat decided to move to Marietta because before her mother died, she said it was the only place where she was happy.  Maybe Kat would be happy there too.  Plus it might give her a chance to figure out who her father is. 

Kat is instantly attracted to Flynn, but knows workplace romances don’t work out.  Will Kat and Flynn be able to keep it business only or will they give into their feelings? 

There is a lot more to this story than I can tell without giving it all away.  One part had me biting my nails in anticipation of what would happen.  The chemistry was really strong between the lead characters too.  I also enjoyed catching up with some of the characters from previous Big Sky Mavericks Books.

Xander is determined to prove to Bailey that there's more between than chemistry. Can a charming millionaire convince a once bitten, forever shy single mom that she wants more than one night with the bad boy?



My Review: 

Xander Blue has come to Whiskey River to live at the Kelly Ranch and work at Kelly Boots.  As stated in Boots Kelly's will, all of his sons have to live and work together for a year in order to receive their inheritance.

Bailey Richmond, CFO at Kelly Boots,  is a woman who lives by the rules she has made for her life. No more relationships.  She can have casual sex.  But no man is allowed to meet her son.  She doesn't want Seth to get hurt when a man decides to leave her again.  Six years ago Baileys's boyfriend left her when she was six months pregnant and never even tried to meet his child.  Seth got attached to her last boyfriend and was very upset when he decided to break it off.

Bailey is different than any of the women Xander has met.  How will he convince her that he is a good guy and trustworthy?

Xander and Bailey had great chemistry and little Seth really stole the show.  The story was really good too.  The Whiskey Creek series has quickly become a favorite series of mine. I'll be sad when it ends.

The Relationship Riddle by Susan Paulson Clark Review

My Review: 

New relationships can be a struggle at first.  Rarely does one work out exactly as you plan. 

In this well plotted book, Belle is falling for her best friend’s ex-boyfriend Vince.  If she continues to see Vince, how will it affect her friendship with Marian? 

The relationship is not the only thing in this book.  We also learn about Belle’s struggle with alcoholism and her worthless ex-husband.  Vince has recently adopted a little boy and is learning to be a father and helping Tye learn to trust again after being taken away from his mother. 

This story also has some great secondary characters and their stories will keep you hanging on to find out what happens to them as well. 

I enjoyed this book a lot and highly recommend it.
