To Love a Texas Cowboy (Wishing, Texas Book 1) by Julie Benson Review

Synopsis:

New York artist Cassie Reynolds moves to Wishing, Texas to raise her orphaned niece, and discovers she’s in way over her head. Then she meets Ella’s financial guardian, Ty Barnett, a handsome hardworking rancher, with his own ideas on child rearing.

Ty and Cassie clash over almost everything, especially Ella, but when two people have the welfare of one child at heart, suddenly they find themselves looking at each other in a whole new light…

Will Ty make room for another lady in his life? And will Cassie allow herself to love a Texas cowboy?

My Review:

She’d never understood the lure of the west, or why so many women went all warm and gooey inside over cowboys.

For a woman who wasn’t his type, she occupied his thoughts a lot and kept him awake more than sleep one night.

Fate brought Cassie Reynolds and Ty Barnett together.  They were both left in charge of raising Ella after her parents died in a plane crash.  They will be linked for the next 12 years when Ella turns 18.  Will they be able to get along without pushing each other’s buttons?

Cassie doesn’t know anything about running a B&B and she really doesn’t want to live in the house where her sister used to live.  She thinks it would be best to find someplace else to raise Ella.  But Ty doesn’t want to hear that.  He needs the B&B to be open because it helps his ranch business too.

Ty is a popular guy in town and everyone loves him.  He runs a ranch and the Chamber of Commerce and he loves kids.  What woman wouldn’t want that?  Plus he is there to step up and help Cassie running the B&B and take care of Ella when Cassie gets hurt.  But when Ty needs help, he is too stubborn to accept it.  Will Cassie be able to help Ty with his struggling ranch like he helped her with the B&B or will this be the end of what the relationship they had created?

This is a wonderful romance.  I can’t wait to read the following books.
