Strikes Fast’s handsome masculinity calls out to Sharon, as her beauty and her kindness calls to him. Can they find a way to heal one another and create the family each of them is longing for?

 

My Review:

An inspiring love story. 

This is the third book in the Medicine Men series and I was excited to learn more about Sharon and Strikes Fast.  This is a heartfelt story that has lots of excitement and passion.  I enjoyed the backstory of the characters and the descriptive scenery.  I could easily visualize the story playing out as I read it.

My Review:

A highly entertaining book.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, Small Town, Big Magic, so I was happy to get my hands on this book.  It was just as addictive as the first book.  I enjoyed learning more about Rebekah, who had her magic taken away, and forced to leave town, when she was just eighteen.  Ten years later, she is back in St. Cyprian after being summoned by the Joywood Coven.  She is glad to be reunited with her sister and friends, but they have a big battle ahead of them and it will take all of their powers if they want to succeed.  Rebekah is also reunited with her secret crush, the immortal Nicholas Frost.  Overall, this is a good book and it was fun revisiting this world of witches.  I would definitely recommend reading the first book in this series before this one in order to know what is going on.

The world lost an incredible chick-lit author recently, Cat Lavoie.  I didn't know Cat personally, but I read some of her books and thoroughly enjoyed them.  I loved her writing style with fun, sometimes quirky characters that I could always relate to.  She was the kind of writer that once I finished one of her books, I immediately wanted to pick up another and read it too.  Cat was an animal lover and in honor of her memory, her friends have come up with the great idea of a virtual pet parade in her honor, starting Tuesday, August 22nd.
