Grady Coughlin understands focus and ambition, having taken over his father's contracting business and building it into a successful historic preservation business on his own. After a blind date with Brigid that ends in explosive passion, they embark on a friends with benefits relationship. But as Grady establishes himself in the business world, he decides he wants more and wants it with Brigid.
On the eve of her best friend's wedding, with her promotion to partner dangling within reach, Brigid believes Grady isn't the best partner to suit her career ambition. But Grady and her heart don't agree and she must decide if she should stick to the safety of the plan or find the courage to pursue what she really wants.
My Review:
An emotional roller coaster of a story that I couldn’t put
down.
Brigid's best friend Caroline is getting married. She wants everyone to be happy and in love
like she is. So, she plays match maker
with her wedding party.
Brigid Anderson is a lawyer who is working hard to become
partner at the law firm. She wants to
make her parents proud of her. She has
been seeing Grady Coughlin in a friends with benefits relationship but with her
promotion coming up, she has second thoughts about how her personal life should
be. Grady is ready to take their
relationship to the next level when Brigid pulls back.
Spending the week together at their friends’ wedding might
be just what they need to find their own true happiness.
This is the second book the Lone Star Match series. I liked how both Brigid and Grady didn’t let
the baggage of their pasts stand in the way of what they wanted in the personal
and professional lives. It is a
passionate story that will keep your interest in until the last page.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked Brigid and Grady!
